Role: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Sector: Mechanical & Electrical Engineering
Based: Leicestershire

The Company:

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and forward-thinking company. As part of a global group built on a family business ethos, my client is a specialist in the design and manufacture of electrical components and supply into aerospace, defence, & GPS industries amongst others. They are currently looking to strengthen their Production Support team in employing a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.

Key Responsibities:

Turning, Milling and Grinding.
Working with Hydraulics and Pneumatic related fixtures.
Health and Safety responsibilities and risk assessment.
Assist in the management of prototypes and pre-production builds.
Liaising with suppliers and customers.
Design and origination of test fixtures and assembly jigs.
Technical support to Post assembly and Process engineering groups.
To assist in the successful implementation of ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications and Experience

C&G/HNC/HND/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 3 years Production / Manufacturing engineering experience

Personal Attributes

Able to use own initiative and remain calm under pressure.
Pro/Engineer design and manufacture or similar CAD/CAM system
Full current U K Driving license
Good organizational and time management skills
The ability to get on and work effectively alongside a wide range of people
Good communication skills both oral and written
Improving and maintaining a very high level of housekeeping at all times in work areas and machines
