Job Title: CMM/HSD Programmer
Salary: £24 - 28K plus benefits
Sector: Aerospace
Location: Derby, Leicester, Nottingham, Northampton, Coventry.

The Company:

Our client is a world market leader in the development and manufacture of advanced machine tool systems. In addition to providing machine tool turnkey solutions for the Aerospace Industry.

The Role:

• Create and update CMM programs for the measurement of gas turbine blades, vanes & complex tooling.
• 3D model manipulation and data extraction for machine programming
• Create & prove out programs for [6 Axis] HSD EDM machines

The Person:

- Experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in aerospace
• Experience of complex component measurement
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications
• Understanding of Turbine Blade & Vane terminology and datum systems
• CMM Programming with two years experience, preferably within an aerospace environment
• Experience with NX4 / NX5
• PC-DMIS 2009 + PC-DMIS CAD++
• PC literacy in MS Office Applications

Qualifications:

• Appropriate qualifications in Mechanical engineering
