International Sales Consultant (Media)

Job Description:

This is a phone based role, although as you progress and gain confidence and market knowledge, you will be expected to attend International events and sell F2F.



This is a role where you will be selling a portfolio of products to your clients including exhibition stand space, online advertising, sponsorship on high quality and high value events and web products. It's essential that as the sales executive you can develop new business accordingly and use your sales skills to develop key accounts spend and develop a consultative sales approach.



The main purpose of the role will be to increase revenue by developing existing and new business, mainly as a result of internal sales activity, and to meet and exceed personal revenue targets and group targets to maintain and increase yield and market share - therefore the person we are looking for needs to be determined to do this no matter what. As well as this you will be required to participate in and contribute to team activity in achieving the above remit.



The job is going to have a certain level of rejection therefore you need to be resilient when it comes to dealing with this and not take rejection personally. You would be working in a team of 5 so will need to be competitive and supportive with the other members of the team. You would be working on a number of products at any one time therefore must be someone who thinks on your feet and is able to learn products quickly and cross sell to clients regularly.



You will be a sales professional with at least 12-18 months within one or more of following areas - stand, sponsorship and online advertising sales. You have a professional telephone manner, strong communication skills and a desire to progress towards both face-2-face and wider international sales. Telephone sales experience is a must and you will be able to demonstrate that you can and have sold effectively with proven results via structured telephone sales techniques.


Languages are not necessary but would be beneficial - French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Italian, Russian.
