Regional Account Manager
Salary: £25-35 + Bonus scheme , Car, Laptop.

The Company


Our client is a leading manufacturer of electrical and electronic products for a variety of markets. They provide high quality service, best value and are strongly committed to continuous improvement. Their products are renowned for being the best in the industry and they attract customers through their good name and reputation. Due to expansion of the current team they are recruiting a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive their products into new markets, distributors and expand existing accounts/ OEMs.
For this role you would be covering the Midlands. They enjoy a culture of valuing and developing their people and can offer a secure working environment. This role has the further advantage of the potential of career progression.


The Role


This role has arisen due to expansion of the sales function within the company. The company wants someone to work with their existing accounts, developing key accounts and break into new markets.
This is a role of 2 halves. 50% of your time will be spent presenting to existing clients, account management and networking with end users. The other 50% will be new business driven, working to identify new markets and accounts. You will work with existing distributors and OEMs with the aim of enhancing relationships and developing business.
Supporting, motivating, managing and accelerating sales growth with the companies electronic's system integration or distribution partners within the region is a key component of the role, as is the ability to develop and deliver clear and compelling sales strategies.


The Person


Aggressive sales growth targets will achieve high reward, and suit a results oriented professional with a passion for achieving targets and an intolerance of under-performance. A clear and demonstrable track record of significant success in account management but more importantly new business generation and development is required, to ensure brand-leadership across the region in all key industry sectors.
A strong engineering qualification or significant industrial experience, in the industrial, electrical / electronic, automation, or process control sectors will be advantageous.
