CNC Milling Setter/Operator/Programmer

Based: Leicester City Centre
Salary: Up to £11.00 per hour


The Opportunity


Our client, a large engineering company based in the heart of Leicester, specialising in the manufacture of precision components to various contract specifications are now recruiting. Due to extensive amounts of work we now have opportunities for skilled CNC Machine Operators to join the company on an initial 13 week basis leading to a permanent position for the ideal candidate.


About You



  • Ideally you will have 18 months experience in Programming and operating CNC Milling machines, previous use of FANUC controls will be an advantage although not essential

  • Be willing to work as park of a team

  • Your duties will include operating machinery already set for work and also making offset changes for normal tool wear as required

  • You will have a sound understanding of engineering drawings and be conversant with relevant inspection equipment as you will be responsible for the quality of the work you produce
