Winbro’s Initial Recruitment Problems
In a niche industry, the competition to recruit talented and highly skilled staff is extremely fierce. As a consequence Winbro experienced great difficulty in sourcing the best applicants by simply relying on recruitment agencies that have little
or no knowledge of this unique manufacturing area. The result had been a frustrating waste of both time and energy.
Precision’s Solution
The “Precision process” is not rocket science; but is based on common sense tactics initially analysing all aspects of a client’s requirements. In Winbro’s case, Precision’s Senior Engineering Consultant made a series of site visits to fully evaluate the culture within the company. Meetings with Heads of Departments took place with the sole purpose of producing a clear, accurate description of Winbro’s “perfect candidate” for each vacancy.

Winbro’s recruitment record has significantly improved, now achieving 80% of live vacancies successfully filled within an 18 months period; this is no mean task especially as the majority of vacancies involve rare skill sets.
